Shawn Kelly grew up in southern California and studied at UCLA and then Art Center College of Design, where she earned a BFA in Advertising Design. Her career began at Ogilvy & Mather Advertising in Los Angeles, where as an Art Director she created television commercials and print ads for such clients as Mattel Toys and American Express. From there she moved on to several smaller agencies, in both freelance and staff capacities.
She established Kelly Graphics in 1994 and has been successfully creating logos, printed pieces, advertising, branding and websites for her clients ever since. She endeavors to discover what is unique about each business and the entrepreneur behind it. She then creates simple and elegant visual imagery and effective copy that perfectly expresses those unique qualities–and unifies all of her client’s promotional materials, with the goal of strengthening corporate identity and increasing sales.
